The End of the World as We (don't) Know It?

Straight out of the world of Art Bell and other kooks I bring you meteorites-a-go-go.

Normally, meteor strikes aren't a big deal. They happen from time to time with little fanfare. People usually don't get hurt, property is rarely damaged, and people generally forget it happened.

But when you mix in a crazy semi-anonymous Australian kook and his predictions that June of this year could be called "Meteor Month", then it just sounds like your average internet goof-ball.

But what exactly can you do if his predictions start coming true?

Get out your tinfoil hats, boys and girls, because what happens is that the kooks will gloat. And well he should, as nothing could be more satisfying than a crazy prephecy of your own coming true.

There's tons more about this topic on the Web, you can make your own conclusions!

You see, a giant meteor the size of a house was seen crashing into the Australian desert during the short time frame predicted by our anonymous Aussie. The prediction is as follows:

  • June 8-9 Dust Cloud begins to reach the Earth and darkening of the skies.
  • June 18-20 1st impact
  • June 24-25 2nd impact
  • June 27-28 3rd impact of the "anomaly"
  • Now this is where it gets interesting: his first impact was right on the money. And he's offering proof What will happen to his 2nd and 3rd? If they're accurate, then we have bigger problems, as part of his prophecy includes massive movements of the world's naval fleets, a huge cloud of some sort heading towards Earth, and other general apocolyptic kookiness.

I fully reccommend reading the full thread on this topic. Sure, it's kookiness, but isn't it great when the kooks get it right once in awhile?

http://www.surfingtheapocalypse.net/cgi-bin/forum.cgi?read=3626 Search google for "Snowball Burro" and you'll find it mentioned. June 20th is a hot date.
