On the Raw side of things the WWE is experiencing a negative backlash over its decision to push a Racism angle between Triple H and Booker T. Perhaps the criticism is justified but I'm having to look hard to see the actual racism. For one thing the harshest thing said has been "people like you", as in "people like you don't get to be champion." They focus on Booker's past, how he grew up in a single-parent home with numerous siblings, and how at age 19 he was convicted of armed robbery, where he served a year and a half. "People like You", if you ask me, is refering to the trailor trash, the uneducated, the ex-cons, and also to those who care what the fans think. After all, HHH made a point of saying Booker's purpose in life is to entertain the fans.
If Kurt Angle makes these same claims against Brian Kendrick or Jamie Knoble nobody would think twice of it. But Booker is black, therefore it's racism? That argument doesn't work for me.
Making a reference to Nappy Hair is probably pushing it, but there hasn't been so much as a "boy." Besides, the most successful WWF champion of all time has been The Rock.

Goldust (Dustin Runnels) was on Howard Stern recently. Among other things we learned that he hates Terri (his ex-wife) and that she cheated on him twice that he's aware of while they were married. A nekkid pic of her was found on the net: When Stern started salivating over her boobs Dustin informed us that he paid for them. Oh Goldy, I know exactly what you went through.

William Regal has been violently ill for over two weeks after catching a parasite while on tour in India. He has gained a lot of weight due to water retention. Currently there are no plans for he and Lance Storm to defend the Tag-Team titles at Wrestlemania.

Raw ended this week with Rock laying Steve Austin out. After the show went off the air Austin got back up and hit The Rock with the Stunner. Rock got back up a little bit later, complaining that the move stings. He ordered a cameraman to remove his shirt (presumably the shirt was of a WWF star), and after some jokes about how he should've let him keep his shirt on afterall, presented it to a kid with Downs Syndrome in the front row.
"Stop cheering The Rock, I'm a bad guy."
The only reason to watch Raw these days will be leaving after Wrestlemania to make movies again. Damn.

The WWF has one more week of tv before the show, they should be pulling out all the stops. I'll include capsule recaps of these past two weeks when I cover the upcoming shows.
