Oh my goodness, for real! Perhaps it was a prosethesis of some kind? I don't know why it could be that, but imagine the possibilties. Perhaps a token into the overworld kingdom? Or a ham sandwhich? You decide.

Didn't even think about that. They did arrest somebody, but they weren't sure if it was the right guy or not.
